Everyone knows I have nothing important to say. This is where I showcase my unimportantness.

On The Verge

I am finally back at school, moved in, enjoying the newly arranged room. Classes start on Monday, and by Friday I will know how this semester should turn out. Hopefully my classes won't be too bad. Only time will tell though.

On the other hand, my high school freshman english teacher and student council sponsor, Mrs. Wakefield, died yesterday. She had a severe heart attack and later passed on. She was honestly a pretty good teacher, even though you would hear people, including myself, complaining about her quite a bit. She would also show up every Tuesday night for the student council meetings and would truthfully be the one that kept everything in order. GHS keeps losing great teachers to death, retirement, and other higher paying positions, but I'm sure there's other great teachers just taking root in the school - so fear not all you high schoolers that are under the rule of Rufus Lassiter, you will be ok. What am I talking about? But seriously, Mrs. Wakefield was neat, hope she's calling people out on their 'rude burping' wherever she is now.

And Boredom Ensues

It's been weeks since those dreaded finals were taking place. At the time I could have wished for nothing more than to be away from campus and classes. Now, I cannot wait to be back. Oddly enough, I miss my dorm room. My bed is amazingly comfortable for a twin size, and I get excellent sleep in it. I also miss the extremely fast internet. I don't so much miss class, but that's a necessary evil.

This break hasn't been the most exciting, but I would like to mention one thing. I recently had the displeasure to go see the movie 'Hostel'. While I found it quite 'fresh' compared to most of the other movies that are being rolled out these days, it had its side effects. I sat through this movie, the whole time wishing I could leave. When I did leave, it was with a sick and twisted view of the world and wanting to throw up to relieve the 'grody' feeling the film gave me. It's definitely a must see, reserve tickets today!

Alas, I want to direct everyone to the comments to the previous post. Another Kody has surfaced, instead of from Tennessee, this one is from Taiwan. I thought it was awesome that someone from Taiwan has read my blog, and that Kody is also a Taiwanese name. Even though this one is a girl, nothing wrong with that. She mentioned that at my age, people would be at 'cram school' and all they think about is their studies. That is definitely not the case at a lot of the universities around here. Don't get me wrong, there are those at WKU that do nothing but study. And at universities such as Vanderbilt and Harvard and such, I'm sure they have to study moreso as well. But yeah, sometimes I feel completely lazy when compared to other countries. Maybe because I am. Well, there's no speculation . . . I am lazy - and that leads me to wrapping this post up without making an kind of a point.

Laziness sucks.

It's A New Year

You heard me right, it is now 2006. Don't believe me? Check the calendar. I actually haven't gotten a 2006 calendar yet, I need to go buy some. I'm guessing everyone had a good new year's celebration - I went out to Cookeville and brought the new year in there. Fun times were had and it was a good start to the new year. In other news, my brother, Kory, popped the question to his girlfriend, Brittany - so they'll be getting married after she graduates or something, I'm sure. Congratulations to him - that's pretty exciting stuff in my book.

I, for one, am going to leave this post at that. Once again, Google knows the score.
